Managing Remotely and Preventing/Resolving
Cross-Cultural Conflicts
Projects that leverage resources in different countries and cultures need leaders who competently bridge both geographical and
cultural distance. In this workshop, we introduce practical remote management methods that factor in cultural differences and
sensitivities. We discuss how experienced project leaders can resolve conflicts that may emerge within or outside of their
international team. We will also review a list of actions to prevent conflicts from happening in these settings.
The interactive workshop format includes lecture, case examples from several cultures, many exercises, and facilitated Q&A.
